Your partner from initial idea up to series production
Based on the public tender Askion got the order to equip the new to build bio bank at the university hospital of Leipzig. This new bank will established in connection with the LIFE-project. LIFE stands for "Leipzig Interdisciplinary Research Cluster of Genetic Factors, Clinical Phenotypes and Environment". The project will investigate the influences of genomic and molecular factors, environment and personal lifestyle on the development on common civilization diseases . Further information regarding LIFE you will find at “uni-leipzig-life.de”. With this project, consisting of five ASKION C-line® hermetic storage, one ASKION C-line® work bench and the ASKION C-line® control, it is the first installation of such a complex system with a closed cooling chain at a customer side. The installation will take place in this year. The active phase of patient sample storage will start in 2010. The project will be, also caused on its vicinity to Askion, function as a reference for the ASKION C-line® system and its further features developments over the next years.
